One thousand paper dolls,
floating in the sky,
flying away.
One thousand little paper girls,
trapped in a world set against them.
Bound by laws and religions,
words that keep them trapped.
Shielded and innocent of the free world,
surrounded by the wars of their fathers.
One thousand paper dolls,
burning in the fires.
The fires of the wars,
that were created in the name of the faceless,
In the name of the silent gods of the world.
Their voices in the form of men,
Men who will continue to burn the wills
of the poor dolls floating in the sky.
One thousand little paper dolls,
up in flames.
Their ashes floating through the air,
through a sky that’s crying black ash.
Now gone to face the nameless faceless god,
the one who didn’t stop their demise
in the wars of man.
